This is new and scary.
I’m used to writing. Once upon a time, I was a journalist. I penned the breaking news, I edited various sections of a newspaper, and I wrote the fun stuff: feature stories, restaurant reviews, travel pieces. When that adventure ended, I became a high-tech lawyer and got accustomed to drafting contracts and other corporate documents. But that was all dry and professional.
Now, I’m working on some passion projects. I’m writing about the things I love: food, places, and the characters that make life interesting. Some of what I write is true (for example, my opinions), and some of what I write is imagined (like the parts about people). And for the first time, I’m sharing my stories with you. I hope you like them.
Shira Teger grew up in suburban Detroit, USA, and at age 18, she moved across the world to Jerusalem, Israel. She has a double-major BA in Communications & Journalism and English Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She also holds an LLB from Bar-Ilan University. Shira is passionate about animals, feels alive out in nature, and she’s a bit snobby about food. She has a fairly extensive music collection, but can’t sing to save her life.
