Seriously, does nobody work around here?
Somehow, the cafes in Israel are always hopping, no matter the time of day. I have always wondered (enviously) who these people are and why they don’t seem to have jobs. My imagination has begun to fill in the blanks in the hybrid reviews/stories below.

Parking Spot
Siftach is a good grab-and-go option, but staying is nice too

Edging Forward
Café B’Rotem seems simple, it looks low-key, but wow!

Rising to the Occasion
A pastoral location with loads of seating ensures an idyllic repast at Ish Lehem

Behind the Glass
The hush at Talbiye Patisserie is the result of a cultured setting and quiet indulgence

Purple Haze
Come to Café Flora for the food, drinks and company, but don’t expect quiet

Better than at Home
Ofaimme’s fare is a bit rustic and full of flavor, featuring sustainability

No Holding Back
Elah Café B’emek has good food, a different setting, and sentiment

Coffee and Company
Cafe Emesh doesn’t stand out culinarily, but the coffee is great

Good Things in the Oven
Cafe Gan Sipur is a pleasant pocket in the park

Everything’s (Going to be) Fine
Nadi attracts plenty of patrons, although perhaps not because of the food
